Dear parents

At school we do writing, handwriting, art, and swimming. At 10 o'clock in the morning we have munch and crunch. In school my friends are Grace, Seeret, Nina, and Georgia. My favourite thing to do at school is writing my recount.

Hi Room 7!

Welcome to the 2014 school year! We are going to have such a fantastic year together and it all starts tomorrow.

Please remember to bring your swimming gear everyday since we start swimming tomorrow.

Our first day tomorrow is jam packed with lots of fun things and the morning looks like this:

- 9am is the start of school and get to know your teacher and classmates in Room 7.
- 10am is the Powhiri to welcome new students and teachers
- 10:40am will be morning tea.

The beginning of the year can be daunting, especially for you Year 3's moving up into the middle school. I know that the Year 4's will make you feel welcome and look after you.

Parents:
Please feel welcome to email me if you have any questions throughout the year, or to pop in and see me before or after school.

I'm very excited about 2014 and am looking forward to getting to know every student in Room 7!

Miss K
